Display and other features
Apple went on to term the iPhone SE as the most powerful 4-inch phone to have ever been created and it sure is. Its dimensions are 123.80 x 58.60 x 7.66 and it weighs in at 113 grams. The iPhone SE has a display resolution of 640×1136 pixels at a PPI of 326 pixels. While this is not as impressive as its predecessors, its dual-core, 1.84 GHzA9 processor is super fast and packs a punch. The iPhone SE features a 2GB RAM and an internal storage of 16GB. It has a 1642 mAh battery which is not too impressive, but for a small phone, it is reasonable.

One major drawback is that the memory cannot be expanded. It has several fantastic sensors which include a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and gyroscope. In comparison, the iPhone SE 2 has a 4.5-inch touchscreen. It has an inferior resolution of 620×1136 pixels at a PPI of 290 pixels. It has a superior processor. The quad-core 2.34 GHz Apple A10 Fusion processor is supreme. The battery is slightly better than the iPhone SE at 1750 mAh. Both phones have a great set of similar sensors and run on iOS v10.

Camera
The comparison of the camera for both phones is very interesting. Both iPhones have a 12-megapixel back camera. The difference lies in the front camera. The iPhone SE has a 1.2-megapixel front camera whereas the iPhone SE 2 has a 5-megapixel front camera. Selfie experts know which phone they are to choose! Both phones have provisions for digital zoom, auto flash, digital image stabilization, face detection and touch to focus. The iPhone SE has additional features like a BSI sensor, smile detection, and simultaneous HD image and video recording. Both phones provide for continuous shooting and have a high dynamic range mode. You can use the burst mode option only in the iPhone SE.

While the iPhone SE and iPhone SE 2 and are the best iPhones in the market, they are perfect for iPhone lovers looking to buy a new iPhone on a budget. While there are several deals and offers available for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X, they are quite big and expensive. Some might prefer to own a smaller iPhone packed with a bunch of impressive features and the iPhone SE and iPhone SE 2 tick both boxes with flying colors.
