It isn’t practical to avoid allergens all the time, so taking medicines can be a good alternative. Medicines like antihistamines, corticosteroids, and leukotriene are effective.
OTC medicines like loratadine and cetirizine are also effective in curing sore throat allergies. Your physician can prescribe nasal sprays and decongestants to clear the nasal passage.

It is important to know the cause of your sore throat allergies. It is necessary to get rid of the allergen permanently to relieve yourself of the trouble.
Taking the advice of your physician to remove the allergen from your environment can also help. Look for preventive measures like masks or inhalers.

One effective way to treat sore throat allergies is to avoid the allergen. If you are allergic to dust, try keeping your surrounding clean and wearing a protective mask when outside.
Keep your house mold and dust free and shut windows if pollutants are around. If you’re allergic to smoke, then avoid being around smokers. A passive smoker is at a higher risk than an active one.

Home remedies for sore throat allergies
Instead of going for high-hand medicines, you can try simple remedies at home. Drink plenty of water and include fluid based food like hot soups in your diet. Not only does this soothe a sore throat but also help in thinning the mucus.

Warm liquids like hot tea or coffee can also relieve the itchiness. Gargling with a mixture of salt and lukewarm water has also proven to be effective.
